A student visa is required for any stay longer three months. Stays over 12 months require an additional medical examination by a panel doctor of the Australian government. The ability to work while completing your studies is one of the many advantages of studying in Australia. You can work at least 40 hours every two weeks as an international student and an unlimited amount during the semester break. You only need a Tax File Number (TFN), which can be applied for online at www.ato.gov.au, to achieve this.

In Australia there are about 43 Universities out of which 2 are international universities and one is private specialty University. Governmental authorities regularly access all of these resources to assess them in order to guarantee a good level of education. And the Australian Education system follows Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), which has 10 levels and it links school, institutes, universities qualifications under one national system. Admissions are purely on the basis of a student's academics & IELTS score. While applying for admissions one has to submit the following documents :

  • Application fees draft (Depending on the university)

Most university admissions in Australia are semester-based, however some are trisemester-based. The first semester runs from February to June, and the second from July to November.
